Pouring a Concrete Pad
Properly curing concrete slabs Properly curing concrete improves strength, durability, water tightness, and wear resistance.
Plain concrete can be very useful in areas where a decorative look is not required, such as caravan hardstandings, shed and garage bases or dog kennels. It is utilitarian and quite cheap. By combining plain concrete with a decorative edging, such as a brick edging, it can be made to look quite attractive.

First, the ground is prepared by grading out the gravel
to the exact elevation, installing plastic to guard against moisture and
then laying the wire mesh reinforcing that will be in the concrete. A dry retaining wall is one that is constructed without mortar. It is a challenging and attractive form of wall and is relatively simple to do. The dry wall depends upon the weight and friction of one stone on another for its stability.
